Election Update
On Aug. 23, Mountain Brook voters will have the chance to elect their 2016-2020 city council members and mayor. Village Living will provide weekly recaps each week leading up to the election, so you can easily keep up with everything you need to know before you vote.
Here's the latest:
- The mayor has given official notice of the election, which means candidates can qualify through July 19. Go to city hall to obtain qualifying forms from the city clerk's office.

- Voters must register by Aug. 8 and regular absentee ballots must be applied for by Aug. 18.
