The streets in Mountain Brook Village flooded with smiling faces on Sunday, Dec. 2, as the annual Mountain Brook Holiday Parade rolled, walked and danced through town.
The parade featured holiday floats galore and hundreds of elves, belles and cub scouts passing out candy and beaded necklaces. Afterward, Santa arrived atop a Mountain Brook Fire Department engine and posed for pictures with joyful Mountain Brook children and their parents.
Grand Marshall for the parade was Sean Fredella, a Mountain Brook Elementary School student who was diagnosed with cancer at age 2 and, 10 years later in 2012, was declared free of the disease.
