Mediterranean favorite Vino in Mountain Brook Village is inviting the community to celebrate its fifth anniversary with drinks and a few furry friends.
Pooches on the Patio will take over Vino's outdoor dining space on Wednesday, Aug. 31, and a percent of proceeds from the evening's business will benefit the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
Owner Al Rabiee said in a press release that the restaurant is excited to partner with the GBHS.
"When the weather is nice, our patio is full of dogs, so partnering with this wonderful organization is a great way for us to give back to the community while celebrating our fifth anniversary," he said.
Guests can choose from two signature cocktails, a "Pooch Potion" martini or a "Meow Mule" Moscow Mule, or from Vino's extensive wine list.
There will also be the opportunity for door prizes, with Vino gift cards for humans and specialty treats for the four-legged guests.
Additionally, the GBHS will be onsite with its adoption RV and several friendly dogs looking for a forever home.
Reservations for the event are not required, but are recommended due to the small event space. To place a reservation, call 870-8404 or visit vinobirmingham.com.
