Highlands School
To help parents keep up with the ever evolving world of technology, the Highlands School will host a lecture addressing thoughts on screen time for children and common apps for adults.
The talk, Technology and Safety on the Internet, is a part of a series called Parent University, which aims to guide parents in raising their children in today's world. Lead by Dr. Andrea Hendricks, a local clinical psychologist, this lecture plans to "address the current research on how much screen time is healthy and when to place restrictions, as well as discuss the most popular apps adults don't typically use, but want you to know about."
The Highlands School will be hosting this lecture on Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. For more information regarding the event and upcoming lectures from the Parent University series, or to RSVP to any lecture, click here.
