Mountain Brook's Jacob Carroll and Gene Bromberg combined for 420 yards and three touchdowns, earning Co-Players of the Week honors from 280 Living.
The two Spartans stars lead Mountain Brook to a 34-13 victory over the Hewitt Trussville Huskies.
Bromberg rushed for 127 yards and scored the game's first touchdown. Carroll passed for a touchdown and 134 yards passing to go along with his 159 yards and a touchdown rushing.
Drew Odum hauled in a touchdown pass and Buddy Pell scored a rushing touchdown for the Spartans.
Next week, the Spartans face the Huffman Vikings.
