On Saturday, Jan. 30, Alabama programs J.O. Johnson, Spain Park, and Mountain Brook will each play against the likes of Brentwood, Blackman, and Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) from Tennessee.
Each of the three games will be held at Spartan Arena and televised by My68 WABM. The schedule of events is:
4 p.m. - J.O. Johnson vs. CPA
6 p.m. - Mountain Brook vs. Brentwood
8 p.m. - Spain Park vs. Blackman
"We're excited to host Border Wars," Mountain Brook head coach Bucky McMillan said. "It's always great when we can do things like bringing top teams from other states to Alabama to further promote the game of basketball within our state."
Tickets are $10, and can be purchased ahead of time here.
Knight Eady Sports Group will facilitate the tournament. Hoover High School hosted the event last year.
